Let’s begin with Addicted: Eden is a successful sex therapist trying to counsel Sabina out of a bad break up. Their session doesn’t go quite the way she planned . . . or does it?
“So you think Bob is a sex addict . . . .”
“I don’t think it, Doctor, I know it!” Sabina is tensed up and starting to rise out of her chair, tear-streaked mascara beginning to run down her face giving her the raccoon look that every woman dreads when she starts to cry. I hand her a tissue and she settles back into the chair. I pretend to make notes on my legal pad, but in truth I’m just doodling, giving her time to catch her breath and calm down, and after a moment it works and she does.
“The thing is that sexual addiction takes many forms and sometimes it’s very hard to diagnose,” I continue. “Let me ask you a few questions about Bob’s behavior when the two of you were together.”
Sabina’s perked up and is looking at me with rapt attention and all ears, ready to help me figure out why Bob is the sexual perv that she’s convinced that he is.
“Does he read a lot of men’s magazines, download videos, or surf the web for porn?”
Sabina stares at me for a moment, her baby blue eyes holding a blank, vacuous look, then rolls her eyes and brushes her blond bangs away from her face. “Well yeah, doesn’t everybody? I mean, not so much magazines and stuff, but pornos, of course!”
Next, in Sharing Sabina, after her counseling session with Sabina has ended Eden decides to take her along to JC’s birthday party. The private dining room is filled with nearly 200 fellow escorts and hobbyists. But after Jake from The Agency decides to recruit her Eden begins to wonder if she made the right decision in bringing the promiscuous Sabina along with her.
To make things worse, in her rush to get to the party Eden completely forgets to get a birthday present for JC. Or did she? When JC takes a liking to Sabina she Eden realizes that her gifting problems have been solved!
As the party winds down JC and three of the men decide that sharing is the best way to introduce Sabina to the Community, and what a memorable introduction it is. Eden realizes that Jake is going to have an insatiable performer on his hands.
Scissors & Fruit
Next up is Scissors & Fruit. After JC’s birthday party Eden and Mark head back to his place for a little relaxation.
Despite her training as a therapist, someone who’s used to being in control of the situation, is Eden biting off more than she can chew and getting in over her head?
You be the judge:
I had no idea how I’d gotten myself into this situation. Mark had seemed like such a normal guy when I first met him. It was 2 a.m. and JC’s birthday party had finally come to an end, she’d absolutely loved the gift of Sabina that I’d given her.
Afterward, most of the ladies had gone back to Crystal and Anika’s duplex for some talk, and I was about to join them when I felt a gentle touch on my elbow and heard Mark’s voice ask, “Do you have a little time for me?”
I’d been wanting to session with Mark all evening so I didn’t wait to be asked twice.
“I’ve got all the time in the world,” I smiled back, and after a quick drive across town we’d settled in his living room, warming up and getting to know each other.
“So how did someone like you get involved in the Hobby?” he asked, taking a sip of his wine and watching me for my reaction, keeping his eyes locked with mine. . . .
Lastly, Girl Talk gives you a collection of four short stories where over drinks and smokes Crystal, Anika, Raelene, Sabina, Eden, Presley & Ginger share their wildest tales about the guys that they’ve sessioned with in the Hobby.
